Sunday: Family Fun DAy!

This Sunday like most was spent relaxing and hanging out at my parents house.  My Dad and I went on an evening bike ride and had some drinks and a light dinner at Hefner Grill.  One of my favorite things about about Summer is eating outside in the evenings whenever it's nice enough! I'm trying to keep a running list of places with Patio's for upcoming idea's of where to eat!

Memorial Weekend Camping

This memorial day weekend two of my friends talked me into going camping at Foss Lake.  The reason why I said "talked" me into it is because I didn't think I was the camping type, but turns out I AM!  This was the first time I had been camping in 6 years!  I think the success was due to sleeping on a big air up mattress and bug spray! The only thing I was bummed about was never getting to go out on the boat.  The winds were so high and terrible there were zero boats out on the water.
The closest I got to the water was laying out on the sand and taking a good hour nap.  Waking up from the nap wasn't so great though due to the sand that covered my body.  It was nice though to get away for two days and have a little mommy brake.  I really enjoyed the small things like being able to lay out and listen to my itunes or just hanging out with friends and knowing I didn't have to be any where.  The best part was that I didn't have any concept of time.  I left my phone in my bag and was just able to relax and know that I wasn't on a schedule.  My every day life is ran by the  clock feeding time, nap times, workout times, what time I have to be at work , etc... So the brake was nice!

My Return from being MIA

Okay so Life Is Crazy Busy!!!!! I only work an average of 3 days a week which makes it sound like I would have tons of free time to blog, but being a single mom is a full time job in it self!
Let me just start off by saying I am truly blessed! I have never felt as great as I do today! Ella has been the biggest blessing God has given me!  I was the girl who never thought she wanted to be pregnant or have her own kids and today I would do it all over again.
Ella Turned 11 Months today so this is her final month under the age of one year! Hard to believe! It's true they really do grow up fast!  I am already starting to plan her big blow out birthday party! I can't wait!

I Finally Went to Vegas in April to Celebrate a Friend's 25th Birthday!

I Took Ella to the Zoo for the First Time and She Loved it!

I got on the back of a motorcycle for the first time in almost two years! We took a ride out to Pops!

February In Pics....

I can't believe that today is already March 1st! February was such a busy month! So many birthday's and a lot of celebrating! It was fun, but now I feel like it's time to get back to eating right and working out again!
Ella is now standing on her own at 8 months! I turned 24 this month and my little brother turned 21 yesterday... We are soooo young, I know! I love it!

Moving week

So this week my brother and I moved into our apartment, but here is the fun part: We get to move again in 4 weeks! They gave us a handicap apt. and well our kitchen and my bathroom just isn't going to work for the next year. So we are just making due til the beginning of March when we move again.
Durning that time I hope to have Ella sleeping in her own room all night long!  It feels like a harder task than it should be!

FEBRUARY!

It's my birthday month and so cold! I can not wait for spring and warmer weather!! Monday Ella and I are moving into a nice apartment in Edmond with my brother, Daniel.  I am excited to find out that this could be the last place I'll rent.  By this time next year I should be in a place to buy a house to make my own.
Buying my own house has been a dream of mine for awhile now.  I love design blogs and the idea of having my own place and being to do whatever I want! Since this week has been a snowed in one I have been looking at a lot of blogs, reading, and watching movies. Hoping everyone is staying warm and has enjoyed their snow days.
